The regular meeting of the Town of Rantoul Plan Commission was called
to order at 7:00 pm by Wes Hedrich.  He verified that meeting notices
were posted on October 14, 2010.

Motion by Eugene Mertz, second by Marion Kasper to accept the agenda
as posted; motion carried.

Motion by Gregg Eickert, second by David Jannette to approve the
October 11, 2010, minutes as printed; motion carried.

The updated draft of the Farmland Preservation Zoning ordinance was
sent DATCP, Calumet County Planning Department and Atty. Ondrasek. 
Keith Foye, DATCP, replied on October 12th stating that any zoning
districts shown on the Town’s zoning map must be in the zoning
ordinance.  He also listed other changes that needed to be made to the
zoning ordinance’s language.  Mary Schwartz presented a draft
incorporating the following districts:  General Agricultural, Wetland,
Natural Area, Heartland and Small Estate Residential.  The ordinance
was reviewed, and changes were made to it.  This draft will be
forwarded to DATCP, Calumet County Planning Department and Atty.
Ondrasek for review.

The next meeting will be called as needed. 

With no further business, motion by David Jannette, second by Eugene
Mertz to adjourn; motion carried.
