Plan Commission Meeting
Oct 11, 2010

The regular meeting of the Town of Rantoul Plan Commission was called
to order at 7:00 pm by Wes Hedrich.  He verified that meeting notices
were posted on October 8, 2010.

Motion by Marion Kasper, second by David Jannette to accept the agenda
as posted; motion carried.

Motion by Eugene Mertz, second by Gregg Eickert to approve the October
7, 2010, minutes as printed; motion carried.

Mary Schwartz presented an updated draft of the Farmland Preservation
Zoning ordinance.  The draft was reviewed for changes.  Motion by
David Jannette, second by Marion Kasper to make the recommended
changes to the draft and send the draft to DATCP, Calumet County
Planning Department and Atty. Ondrasek; motion carried.

Motion by Eugene Mertz, second by David Jannette to set November 4,
2010, at 7:00pm, at the Village Hall of Potter for a public hearing on
the Town of Rantoul Draft Zoning Ordinance; motion carried.

The next meeting will be called as needed. 

With no further business, motion by Marion Kasper, second by Gregg
Eickert to adjourn; motion carried.
