The regular meeting of the Town of Rantoul Plan Commission was called
to order at 7:00 pm by Eugene Mertz.  He verified that meeting notices
were posted on December 9, 2010.  Wes Hedrich arrived later in the
meeting.  David Jannette was absent.

Motion by Gregg Eickert, second by Marion Kasper to accept the agenda
as posted; motion carried.

Motion by Marion Kasper, second by Gregg Eickert to approve the
December 8, 2010, minutes as printed; motion carried.

Paul Birschbach reviewed changes to the Town of Rantoul Zoning
Ordinance.  Paul Birschbach will continue working on the draft,
incorporating the changes proposed.  He will also consult with an
attorney familiar with zoning to review the Town of Rantoul Zoning
Ordinance.

Motion by Eugene Mertz, second by Marion Kasper to approve the
appointment by the chairman of Dennis Hintz as Plan Commission
secretary; motion carried. 

The next meeting will be February 2, 2011, at 7:00pm at the Village
Hall of Potter. 

With no further business, motion by Marion Kasper, second by Dennis
Hintz to adjourn; motion carried.
